imo imvu is what YOU make it for yourself....some treat it as a life-saver or a dollhouse, some as an rpg arena and some as cheap sex chat. You choose.
This bothered me for a while too - until I discovered IMVU mobile. So if I forget what I said/sent....I can check the whole conversation on my mobile.
