I've never even really used IMVU to chat with anyone or make friends. I mostly just use it privately as an outfit creator / dress up simulator, and am content with that. IMO they headed a good way to losing half of their old user base once they decided to arbitrarily close the old message boards, and then delete all trace of them completely without any consideration for the communities' wishes. They couldn't even be bothered to simply archive them, even though many of the posts and guides there were still very useful to keep around and read, especially for help on creating things. They treat everything as disposable now, even their own product. I'm not sure I'll have much incentive to stay on if the desktop client is eventually replaced or done away with entirely as they seem to be implying, next is garbage and barely loads anything on either my computer or mobile, and that sterile all white interface is unsightly as hell. I'm sick of them wanting to foist it on me. Will IMVU lite still work or be made compatible in the event of a forced overhaul? I'd love to see the possibility of the old style client being able to live on just through that.

You sure paypal would drop them? Doesn't steam now sell erotic games and even rape games?

You make a good point. Steam did allow their first uncensored porn game last year. For years people said Steam did not allow uncensored sexual content due to PayPal's rules against sexual content. So far though, I have not see anyone explain how Steam managed to get around the rule. I know certain European porn companies get around the rule by being grandfathered into a different set of rules used by a payment processor that use to be partnered with PayPal.

Hello, ABOUT the question to imvu my answer dies is if, between that does not allow sals, poses, est and those that allow are very basic and unrealistic, among the punishments of the creators who for any report close the store and the little sale that has been ultimately, and doing other more liberal chat because little apoc at high speed will be lost is a shame, but it is what touches live

Not going to lie, I think the reason the community is depleting so steadily is due to the fact that the imvu devs haven't fixed a lot of bugs in the game (for mobile players) and in this new age mobile is the best thing some people have available for them. Also, it is extremely easy to get your account banned, I know people who has played this game for over 9 years but they're account was deleted for stupid reasons, I think the moderators are too strict when it comes to punishment, or they just don't care and ban to please the public.

with so much changing going on around imvu i say yes. imvu is becoming like any mainstream social media. and imvu is getting so damn expensive. like damn i cant even afford to get one room open in public without paying over $30 for one public room. and dont get me started on mobile users and trolls.

This question can be argued either way as it is still growing but just at slower rates then before. I feel as if their advertising is not very common as it used to be. A few years ago I remember seeing the game all over ads of almost like every website. The game has been around for so long and I still see alot of noobs everywhere I go. On the other hand though people on the game don't talk as much as they used too. Im always in a chatroom with many people but they just stand there and don't even try to engage in a conversation or anything. But the community is still growing and there are alot of cool people from different places that keeps the game alive. So in my opinion I would say the game hasn't died but is definitely not as fun as it was a few years back.

Ofc imvu is dying but find myself logging in out of no where sometimes, just to check up on what changed. Usually nothing.
