So, I found this neat program that tells you how much porn is on your computer by scanning it for dirty words and pictures / movies containing large amounts of skin tone.
The program is called: Media Detective : http://www.mediadetective.com/index.html

The free trial only lasts 14 days, but since we are just having fun with this program ... all we need is 14 days.

I thought it might be fun for us to scan our own computers and post the results on how much porn is on our computers. :P

Anyone want to take bets on how much porn is on my computer?

First Scan:
I had it scan drive C. This drive contains nothing but Windows related files. I canceled it because I didn't want to scan drive C since it's pointless. But out of a total of 6 images, 1 was found to be suspicious. All 6 images were work safe (pictures of clouds and buildings).

Second Scan:
I had it scan my data drive. This drive is a storage drive, it contains nothing but documents, games, music, movies/tv shows, software and music videos. However, some music videos do contain nudity but they are clearly tagged (Uncensored) or [XXX] so hardly inconspicuous. Everything else is work safe (porn wise).

    Results:
1,749 images were found to be suspicious. Pictures of WoW maps, League of Legends Wallpapers, computer parts, solid color wallpapers (what?!) and diagrams of weapons.

911 Videos were found to be suspicious. To its credit, it did find a lot of the ones that contained nudity but it also found tons more that were harmless. Apparently, Lego Batman The Movie is just as suspicious as music videos with tits.

194 Documents were found to be suspicious. Everything from code, html tools to hex color charts.

874 Audio files were found to be suspicious. Apparently, my entire rock and rap collection is suspicious.

Third Scan
I scanned a folder containing nothing but IMVU sex pictures, out of 1,352 pictures, it only found 257 of them to be suspicious. On the highest filter, only 50 of them are suspicious.

Conclusion:
While the program does work, it is highly inaccurate. It does find suspicious files but for a tool claiming to "find out how much porn you have" it falls short. The programs results are untrustworthy. It'll claim hundreds of files are bad and add them to your total when they couldn't be more innocent. I also ran this program with no security to get in it's way, no effort to hide any of my files either. I clearly tag my music videos that have adult content and the IMVU Sex pics are right on my desktop. So I hope companies and law enforcement agencies are not replying solely on this tool to fire or convict people.

Or, I could rightclick a folder and hit Properties.

Very unsuspectingly named "etc". No, I am not on Linux. Yes, all of it is in there, nowhere else. Yes, I am an organized shithead.
