It's simple. Whichever site you visit. If it asks for your login info. It's fake and scam. Just do one thing delete message.

YOu should ask IMVU directly regarding the msg. It is probably a scammer.

My friend's account got h4c|<7d after clicking a link from fake imvu staff account because she didn't check staff watermark on their profile.
I think it's good to read message on imvu website because watermark shows on the message background. It's quite noticeable.
It's recommended to check watermark on sender's profile every time too.
