Hey, guys, so IMVU put my account on hold and is asking for an ID, like a driver’s license or some other official ID, to confirm it’s really me. They ask for this sometimes to verify accounts and prevent fraud, especially if they notice any unusual activity.
Here’s what I did: first, I read the message carefully—they explain exactly what documents they’ll accept. Then, I got my ID (or whatever official document they asked for) and checked their privacy policy to make sure I knew how they’d use my information. After that, you just have to send the document through the support channel they mention, usually on their website.
Then, you just wait for them to review it. Unfortunately, there’s no way to skip this step if your account is locked like this. The only option is to send the document and wait to get access back.

Here, you can choose the reason why your account was placed on hold. It may be due to inactivity or more often due to billing-related issues. The second option is common if you received credits or gifts from accounts that used fraudulent credits, if there were chargebacks, or if credits were purchased with a VPN and later resold or sent to other accounts to gain more.

Explain your situation clearly, including how you found out that your account was on hold and the reason they gave. Attach a clear photo of your ID along with a recent photo of yourself to help them verify your identity.
Processing can take between 24 to 48 hours, so please be patient. If you have VIP status, you can contact 24-hour support, where they may be able to resolve the issue immediately.
