Can anyone lead me to the best tools to create with for imvu? I am looking for good free tools that others use to create with. I am trying to get back into creating again but need more things. Can anyone help?

There are several programs that people use some cost alot and some are mildly cheap. One of your firends should be ...Gimp https://www.gimp.org/downloads/. Then you have Photoshop https://adobe-photoshop-express-windows-10.en.softonic.com/download. Then there is Blender https://www.blender.org/download/. Then 3Dmax https://www.autodesk.com/products/3ds-max/free-trial.

Storage areas for you JPGs, Gifs...etc are: Photobucket http://photobucket.com/

Now I am sure there are others out there that know of other sites and Programs to utilize but these are just the basic ones that I know of or use myself

Since Photobucket starting asking users to upgrade for 3rd party hosting, I have been using http://www.PiXXXels.org for storage. They also don't censor your AP pics if you have any.

Personally, I like to use Photoshop and GIMP to edit my photos and icons, as well as editing and making textures. I use 3DS Max, and Blender to create meshes. I plan on trying out Marvelous Designer since it is more catered towards making clothing. I'll let you know how that goes for me.
