[Paint.Net] [Tutorial] Quick and easy water texture

In this tutorial I will show you a very quick and easy method for making a water texture with Paint.Net.

The end result will look like this

Step 1 Create a new 256x256 image.

Step 2 Fill the background layer with a blue color.

Step 3 Go to Effects -> Render -> Turbulence.

Step 4 Set the Octaves to 1, the Period to 73, Size to 83 and click OK.

Step 5 Create a new layer and fill it with white. Then double click the layer and set the blend mode to overlay.

Step 6 Repeat steps 3 and 4.

Step 7 Go to Effects -> Distort -> Ripple.

Step 8 Set the Amount to 0.78, Ripples to 2.75, RipplePhase to 0, Angle to -45, Highlight to 10 and Quality to 5
