IMVU model to MMD

I'm trying to download my IMVU avatar and convert it to an MMD for personal use in another program. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to do this? I've tried NinjaRipper and 3dVia PrintScreen. I couldn't really get Ninja to work because I couldn't find what version of Directx3D IMVU runs, and when I tried using 3dvia all I got was a pyramid, a cylinder, and a square. Any ideas are highly appreciated.

I have successfully exported my model to obj and imported it into Sketchup. I am not familiar with the MMD format but if you can convert an obj to MMD then the technique I use should help.

I think Blender and PMX Editor can open both OBJ's and MMD's. If you can capture OBJ's off of your graphics card, that might work.
