You can get it, either by creating a product, either by extracting a product with mafia's programs (T3DE or MPR). Honestly, I'm using both and I'm satisfied with them.

u can earn medit's a lot of different ways. some of these ways are; replying to post, creating threads, login-in rewards. that is a few there are many other ways. I'll suggest taking a look @ points.php?mode=info for more info and a better understanding.
PS: this was not listed but is also a option to earn medits by playing the lottery: points.php?mode=lottery

What do you mean by "get around" ? What are you trying to do to the xmf mesh file? Or is it the texture you are trying to do something to?
