Imvu only really starts being suspicious when you get reported multiple times, since their terms and conditions prohibit them to scan your chats and inventory unless theres a possibility that you're going against their Rules.

Mafia clients have all of the spyware ripped out of them, so we do not have to worry about those scanners. It's the main point of mafia made clients within BM, getting around the ridiculous amount of spyware IMVU crams into their default clients.

I think what you mentioned about IMVU moderators is reasonable, as nudity with arousal and such is completely prohibited. Therefore, one of the main rules of the stores is that you use the products in private places, meaning your own rooms and with trusted people, so they don't report to IMVU that you possess these products. Similarly, the percentage of account closure for you, as the product consumer, is low, but for the person who delivers the product, there is a high risk of getting banned.
