Peer Review Changes Discussion
Recently there have been changes in IMVU's peer review system.
IMVU's Staff post can be found here for anyone that wants to keep track of it: https://help.imvu.com/apex/IMVUCommunit ... 01APyb5CAD
So far there have been speculations of it being about Copyrights, Music copyrights, BM products, and anything with a pose. These are ALL speculations, remember that, its what developers assume its about. Truth is we really are not sure, and IMVU likes it that way.
To be honest, to me, it seems as if this is one of IMVU's classic selected groups have been tested, now they have rolled it out to more of the majority to see how it goes. They do this every so often, and right now it IS causing a ruckus. Not confident in them changing it, but they may lower their percentage in the new algorithm, theres a possibility its to high.
The key thing to understand is what staff said "We will continue to adjust the algorithm with an aim to get the best quality catalog with as little friction as possible."
So this will be an ongoing thing until they figure it out for it to run smoothly.
Tip: Others have been editing the product or the description and then resubmitting their products, this can sometimes bump the product into automated Peer Review. It has worked for me 3 times so far.
Lastly, don't stop creating due to it. You'll have a bit of an advantage over alllll the devs that stopped creating. There are many, so just keep that in mind.
Please continue to discuss this, give tips, add concerns etc. ----v
