i wanna know if the vu staff need to know the exact location when im travelling or is just telling them the general area ok? example like if i'm going to the states do i have to tell them that i'll be going to LA Cali usa or just telling them i'll be in cali for a few days is ok?

my biggest trip is Scotland which is during the summer. i'll be kinda all over the place a bit and most likely be getting a data card so i'm not sure if that would interfere with my account when logging in.

To my understanding they just need to know the country if you are traveling outside of the US, and if you are traveling inside the US then they need the state. Don't quote me on that though. I knew a guy about a year or two back who did a lot of traveling and his account was constantly getting disabled for it. That's just based on what we figured out with him. It could have changed since then .... and reporting the location really only worked about half the time.

interesting....i do know that i don't need to notify them if i travel within the country my account is registered in. i'll try to ask them the next time i get the chance.

UPDATE!!!!: just spoke to vu staff on live chat they said "It would be better to tell the exact location so we know and we have it documented."
