Tbh what the man himself said. You have to be cool in order for people to follow you. You can’t expect everyone to follow you just because you want them to. Be creative with your posts, join random rooms. Make friends. Click pictures. Its fun.

To get followers be active and follow people that win the woc and follow their followers and some will follow you back. You can choose to unfollow them after you get their follow if you want to keep your follow count down.

There are some ways to get fake followers, alot of people sell them. I posted on another post similar to this about my expiriences with that. Not quite sure how they get them. Aside from fake followers, getting noticed on discover is a good way for real ones. Winning the dress contests and traveling to different public popular rooms helps too.
