I was approached by an admin claiming to be in charge of finalising my account activation after I signed up for AP and age verification. I gave them my email and password and then I was logged out of my account by force. I couldn’t log back in and it even said my email wasn’t registered with IMVU anymore.

One: Don't ever do that again. Seriously. Even IMVU explicitly tell you never to give your password to anyone, nor will they ask for it. No-one here will either, unless you're using some kind of very specific service. (I don't know of any however, nor would I suggest them.)

Two: Create a new account on a different email to the account that was stolen. Contact IMVU support and tell them exactly what happened, every detail. They'll probably ask you for proof of account ownership like the original email account and a few other personal details like your birthday and such to verify it. If everything on your end is legit and matches, they should be able to re-instate the account over to you with a new password and such.

I know it's possible, nor too difficult to get a stolen account back if you act quickly. Sadly I only know this because an account I'd bought legitimately turned out to be stolen and got taken off me. Though I'm glad the original owner got it back, even if they were an ass about it.

wait????? who asked for your password? since imvu will never ask for it. they just have access to everything and anything they wont too. so never give that out ever.
imvu will never ask for it just about anything you use if they are and admin they should have a way to access your account without giving it out to them. if they ask for it ask for another to help you since clearly something is fishy there. or just run far way from that chat since something weird is happening

take this as a learning i know i have fell for it a few times but i was like what the heck and didnt learn from the 1st like 5times i gave it out too people. even if they are your friends never give it to them

but if you contact imvu they will ask you to verifying the account if you got credits or used your id at any point they will be able to help you along with know your email.

i know i was locked out of mine and i called them and they helped me get it back by asking question about my id and what i have bought along with my card information added in there
