There is a user that has started stalking me into every room I enter. Despite the fact of having my room location off 24/7 as well never appearing online. I have already blocked them, but that isn't going to stop them from making more accounts or prevent them from finding me in rooms I'm not mod in. They don't ever speak when they find me, they join and then leave when they see I'm not talking. I just don't know what to do about it, honestly. It's absolutely creepy.

I am not sure who it might be, but there was a previous user that h4c|<7d IMVU to get credits, then gifted me. After that, he started to claim that he knew me irl. I've never met the guy in my life. If you can't/won't do anything, I understand. I just want to be on imvu in peace.

just ignore him or do as I do only go to room that you are a mod no one can h4c|< you if you dont click links and if they silent who cares really

Understanding your Problem all to well as several have been through this. The problem with stalkers is there is really nothing you can do. 1. You have your room locator off 2. you place yourself on DND to show offline. ( Mind you if someone is using the Next app on thier phone they can still see you as being online even though you are DND so to solve that you have to mark yourself offline on Both if you use both.) 3. If in a public room that you frequent alot you have set a pattern for your stalker to follow, change it up. Also ask the room Mods or Owner if they wouldn't mind Blocking your stalker as you enjoy utilizing and visiting their rooms.

Now just because a stalker somes into a public room where you are do not stop talking as you want to talk to bait the person to respond to you in a negative way. Mind you do not say anything directly to them to get yourself set up. But wait for them to say something negative about you and then Flag it. Make sure you flag all instances with this person to be able to present to IMVU a pattern. Also, If you have friends in the room and you have VIP and able to whisper ask them at the same time as well to flag the conversation. Then File a ticket or utilize Help Live Chat if you are VIP. Take for granted IMVU does not really do anything to stop such offenses but offer warnings to the person you will not know what happens to the other. I known some to acquire over 50 warnings (handslaps) and are still on IMVU.

You mentioned that they say they know you in real life and have your real life information the best bet then as it is a intrusion of your Real life you can call your local Police Department and ask for the Cyber Division. Report what is going on there and for their records make sure you have copies of the chats as well as Snapshots of the instances where they have mentioned they know about your real life. Threats are a very serious thing and should be dealt with immediately. Do not listen to others and take oh they are just playing with your head as some are not as such and are something of a serious nature.

There is also the suggestion if you have a Alternative Avatar to play on that for a while and give the other person time to chill out and lose interest in bothering you and move onto the next person. I know this does not solve anything and it is very frustrating to you as it is to alot of others that go through this daily. Usually ignoring the person they will see that they are not getting to you anymore and will also leave you alone. Sometimes people make their ownselves the target and this is done by making comments to them or others that they are bothering you and as long as they know that they will keep coming at you because this is how they get their so called High.

Another solution may be to create a alt and well turn about is fair play. Use your alt to stalk them. Turn your fear and harassment into something fun for you let them see how it feels. Just make sure you don't break any of IMVUs TOS's and you will be fine. I believe another suggested this as well to create a alt exactly looking like theirs and their identical name with maybe 2 of the letters switched so it looks the same and show up where they are. Turn your pain into your Fun.

Now If they continue I am sure there are a few mafia members here that would love to have some fun chasing them around and making them feel what it is to be stalked.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've been through this kind of situation before. I also got scared and creeped out, of course. It went on for almost a year, I stopped using my account for a bit. My suggestion would be try your best to ignore whoever is stalking you, if they make multiple accounts, block all of it. Maybe the stalker knows what rooms you usually go to, so maybe try going to new rooms? Or stay in rooms where you are a mod at. Or if you have an alt, you can use that for the mean time? If you really can't avoid them, then I think it's best to ignore. They can't do any harm to you anyway, I think. Hehe. Cheer up girl! Those kind of people probably don't have better things to do with their time.
