Daily logins and posting on the forums earns medits.
Posting spam earns negative medits.

you can also try to earn credits via the lottery. Click on the button next to your coin balance and select lottery. You have to have some credits so you can purchase tickets to enter. Also, you can submit an entry to the October Halloween Contest for a chance to win 15k medits. viewtopic.php?f=87&t=13642
