Responsive IMVU Layout?

As you know the Web is constantly shifting.

The static Div image mapped layouts do not work-out on mobile very well. That is; they don't transform to screen size.
With that I was wondering if there was a way to create mobile friendly layouts? or Perhaps embed an an entire wordpress site onto the imvu URL Panel and have it work nicely on mobile?

Any insights on this would be appreciated!

Never thought about this. There is so much out there ahaha. THANKS VON ALPHA!

I will most certainly try it. I was looking at Gaf imvu codes but had not found anything suitable.

Anyone one on the forums sellings responsive layouts?

Last I checked, IMVU homepages were an Iframe wrapped in a container. If you try to resize the browser to a mobile resolution you will get scrollbars. As long as that's the case I don't think mobile friendly homepages are possible. You might be able to get away with doing some minor adjustments for larger phones screens but that's about it.

Look into flexbox and grid if you want to roll you're own solution.

As Don mentioned, Bootstrap has a nice grid system if you want to use something pre built.

Very useful indeed. Thanks for the input DM, I'll check-out those resources.

But as you've stated, if the layouts are mostly suited to large screens then I guess a trick would be to script a prompt asking the user to login via PC to view the page.... as its pointless viewing the iframes on tiny phone screens

Thanks for your help!

Since the inner iframe is on the same domain outer frame, you should be able to target the outer frame with a JavaScript append without any cross site scripting errors, to append your own custom CSS document. Then override the existing CSS rules using !important with more mobile friendly CSS.

Problem with that is it would break the header. Not a major issue if you don't care about it but it would break the layout if you don't remove it.
