Hello, I am unsure how active this website is or if anyone is able to assist in any way.
1) The issue revolves around a long term harasser, we are talking over 2 months of constant harassment.
A friend rejected him romantically and he began making fake accounts parodying our IMVU username’s to try and get our friends to fall for them asking for our private information.
He also makes burner accounts to bypass the block we have on him on our main accounts so he can follow us in our locations and send us mails before never logging on them again.
Not only does he pretend to be us on other accounts, but he is racist. He brings the confederate (a known hate symbol) flag into areas he knows me and my friends are and begins to spout of racist things such as calling my muslim friends terrorists, saying the N word and calling my Jewish friends “Kikes”. He also uses private information against us, such as saying he will piss on my friends dead parent’s graves (He knew they were deceased) and making accounts that are discriminatory (Burner accounts with the N word for a username).
In addition to this, we have recently discovered he has been sexting what he believes is a 15 year old. We have reported this to IMVU and they banned the kids account but he roams free and without consequence. We are concerned he may target other children in future and solicit them for nudes. We want him off the platform and would appreciate any help.
2) The problem affects us because he impersonates us and insults us based on our race and other information he knows about us. We have piles of screenshots of what he has said and done, including the sending a child explicit photos of himself. We have decided to reach out because we have nowhere else to turn to. IMVU allows this disgrace to continue being on the platform despite us reporting him multiple times. We have hit a brick wall on things we can do.
3) I suppose the area would be everywhere on IMVU as many of the issues listed revolve around mails, public and private chats.
