so...i just got off the phone with an imvu staff cuz i wanted to check to see if i'm eligible for yearly tier vip on the phone since i'm not eligible to do through live chat. the lady i got on the phone....i didn't really find that helpful...first she said to just buy monthly..then says to buy a vu gift card (which i can't really do cuz vu gift cards are really hard to find in person now in my area) ...then tells me that i gotta buy credits on the website before calling in for yearly tier vip? i know that yearly tier vip is still a little new but still...

here's the post about yearly tier vip for anyone wondering...i'm not sure how many people already have done yearly tier vip as of rn... either way i just hope i can get yearly tier vip smoothly on the phone the next time i call in....didn't like how it was a long winded route of telling me yes u can get yearly vip on the phone. -.-

Now thats a weird way to upgrade your vip... They shouldve just had it as an option in your subscription settings. The countries that are supported are very limited too so I cant change my subscription in my country.

im not 100% sure....i even downloaded the new shitty vu client to check since the post says it's only on vu desktop....and well...there's no little menu thing to change from monthly to yearly....

agree...i did hear that they're gonna open it to everyone at some point....but as of rn idk...my legacy vip just renewed automatically...talked to live chat and they said that "as of right now, we are yet to receive an update regarding what will happen with legacy VIP but definitely, we will post an announcement regarding that, it is just the auto subscription of the VIP legacy will be honored until November 1st, 2022." so...i guess anyone who is still has legacy that's good for 2023 i guess we'll have to wait and see what happens....hopefully they'll just automatically transfer it over to platinum vip once it gets into the next renewal cycle...
