You should still be able to flag / report messages from someone after they have blocked you. Are the messages no longer visible?
Did the person being threatened block the person who was threatening them?
Has the harassment continued?

Out of personal experience, block them and move on. If any of your friends have an issue with that, they're not your real friends.

Then you have done everything that you need to do.
Drink your tea live your life to the fullest.
If they start stocking even though blocked, then only hang out in rooms owned by yourself or owned by friends who have also blocked that person.
They will give up after a while.
