Hello, I just got banned for endangering a minor or whatever the hell….these guys just banned me straight up without telling me why or what I did and mind you I spent 7 years actively on this app…I’ve been contacting them and they say the same thing over and over.

1. I know my fault my age is not the real age as my Vu account but mind you when my account was on hold I showed them my photo ID and they never told me to change my age on my account (I don’t even know how to) I made that account 7 years ago, IMVU customer service failed to tell me to change my age or change the age manually.

2. I told them I role-play but I never ever role-played with minors and if I “supposedly” did why can’t they just tell me what exactly I said or did so I can state my case I mean who bans someone and says it’s in-reversible without stating the evidence they found.

I really need help and advice on if I can get my account back or not…I know its really hard to get it back based on reading some of the comments and forums and I wouldn’t even be mad for real if I get the evidence they said they have.

look what I see here is that you did not get banned because you bad intentioned a minor or something like that, if not that you did not put the correct age, you could have been a minor at some point and therefore interacted with older people at the time, is the only logic I see the banning

I see, do you think there’s a possibility of getting my account back now I’m 19 or do I kiss my account goodbye.

I think you should say goodbye, because imvu will tell you that lying about your age is against the terms and conditions they give you to read when you create an account.

There are 4 methods for trying to get back a permabanned account:
1) Apologize and tell them you won't do it again. This sometimes actually works and does not take long to try.
2) Bribe an IMVU staff member with money. This takes multiple tries to find one willing to accept the bribe.
3) Annoy their phone support non stop for a year. (saw this work 1 time ... dude literally called them every single day for a year and blew up the phone of their manager)
4) Take legal action and sue them. (always works, they always settle by giving back the account, even if the account was legitly banned for something horribly
illegal)

IMVU's parent company is named "Together Labs", and is located in California. If you live in California, you can take them to small claims court via your local courthouse. Otherwise you will need to hire a proxy lawyer who operates within California.

Thank you so much man I really appreciate it..I’ve been searching but just wanted to know you’re input on which proxy lawyer or law firm do you think is best to go about this?

You will need to perform your own research as Don is unlikely to have that information. After all not all lawyers may specialize in handling these kinds of cases, so you will need to find one in Cali that would fit your needs.
