Hello IMVU Mafia. I started playing IMVU again recently, after a kinda long break of 5-6 months or more due to my partner. Now she told me that she wanna go back to it and play it again, so i logged in and i saw that my adult items are gone, probably removed by the IMVU staff. So i was thinking of trying an item from here with Medits since i got 5k and before i invest anything more, also because im not sure how long this hype would last. I have a question or two about the trigger products. I read that there gonna be 2 versions after purchasing, the PRE-DEV and DIY. As far as i understood the PRE-DEV is for PC only and that the Deep Client is a must so i can use the items from here. Now my questions are:

What are the chances of getting the items removed by IMVU staff?

What if my partner doesnt want to install the Deep Client? What can be done in that case, any other way so the items are seen?

Do i need an IMVU VIP for these to work?

It might sound obvious but i just wanna clear any confusion i got because i havent done this before. I appreciate any help

I've never had a single BM item removed and it's getting on for close to two years. With the way they work and the Deep Client, it's very hard for them to get detected or removed. If it's a bestseller (pre-dev), you don't have to worry at all. Most of mine are DIY. TL;DR: Very low risk if you do things properly, or it's a pre-dev.

You only need VIP if you're buying a DIY product, honestly it's kind of a pain in the ass since you don't want to use your main account for 'making' them. That said, I'm sure someone might be willing to do the work for you, for a small fee. However, your partner does need the Deep Client (or something like it) to be able to see said products. I've been using it for even longer than I've been using my BM products and it's a straight upgrade, there's no reason to not use it, unless you're paranoid. You could bypass the Deep Client requirements by creating and using the products directly, but I highly advise against it and the risk of getting the stuff taken and whichever account created it banned are moderate. I think you'd also have to go through Peer Review or cheese to even do that, so it's a pain to deal with.

Use the Deep Client if you can. It's a nice quality of life upgrade regardless of BM stuff.

Depends on which version of the product you use.

PRE-DEV - we haven't lost a single product since 2019. Even if by some miracle we did, we have over 12k backups up and ready to go. Warranty covers support and replacements.

DIY - about 1 in 2,000 customers get caught. That's still safer than condoms.

Reseller - 30% of resellers get caught within the first month

Yes. If you use the DIY version, then mobile partners can see your products without the Deep Client.

If you use the reseller version, then both PC and mobile users can see the product without the Deep Client.

Of course, there is also the option of finding a new partner. We have around 160,000 members who are already within the system. There is a subsection of our forums for finding partners.

Do i need an IMVU VIP for these to work?

If you are using PRE-DEV, no, VIP is not needed.

If you are using the DIY or the Reseller, then 1 month of VIP is needed. The product(s) will continue to work after VIP runs out.

Cheap VIP is available for sale on our discord, cheaper than what IMVU sells it for.

12k backups.. that sounds very secured then. So the reseller stuff are the most risky i guess. Well im not sure how worth it is, but then its good that it works both on PC and mobile so i will consider it.
