As I'm sure most of you have noticed by now, the site had been undergoing a lot of changes. I have wanted to bring you a better website that's both easier to use and understand as well as more aesthetically pleasing. To this end, I've been giving almost all sections of the website an overall and still am in the process of working on the site now.

There is still tons of work that needs to be done and so in an effort to keep you all informed and keep me motivated, I've decided to start chronicling the changes I make on a day to day basis as well as inform you all of planned changes in a sort of To-Do list format.

Most of these changes are an on-going process and take time. Mostly because I have to teach myself new coding techniques as well as learn to understand how our systems work at the very basic level and then re write them by hand. Needless to say, this isn't easy considering there is a lot of spaghetti code and a lot of it goes against my normal thought process, lol.

To-Do List:

Green means done
Orange means I'm currently working on it

-overhaul blog comments
-re write blog system
-re add revert permissions button to Index page
-Add blog button to profiles
-modify codebox
-modify quotebox
-update account status images (banned/inactive etc..)
-re write quick reply template
-re write new topic template
-re write pm system
-re write the black/gray market
-re write gallery system
-style index recent controls
-add topic title to threads
-rewrite forum titles
-finish notification system
-add support for new avi card backgrounds to avi card viewer
-incorporate download system into index header
-re write downloads system
-re create rank images
-re write topic system
-re write index
-re write profiles
-fix underline bbcode
-fix strike-through bbcode
-add new interactive game section
-rewrite arcade system
-modify milestones page
-update mainpage (fix styling)
-update statistics and online users area on the index
-finish new mafia productions forum category

Currently, the index, topics and forums sections are mostly done but they are not complete, that's why they've been marked as orange. I am still tweaking them a little bit as I learn new coding techniques and understand the system more. I'll try to keep you all informed of what's going on here.

The staff and mod sections will be redesigned into a single category where our staff members can talk and access information. Although most members will never see these sections, it will help make the forums cleaner and easier to use for staff which saves them time and effort...giving them more time to help you guys.
There are plans to redesign a few other sections as well but we still have to figure out what we're gonna do with them first.

Do not forget fixing the quote button on threads. At the moment, unless quick-reply is enabled / visible in a section, the quote buttons do not work.

Thanks My appoint went great, just waiting for the left over numbing to dissipate. I have to get some pms written and fix T3DE but other than that I have all of today to work on the site so I will do my best to get the quick reply re written so I can install it and get quotes working.

The site is looking amazing, thank you for all the hard work to update everything. Glad your appointment went well, those damn things can really suck :P
