So for the longest time I've been wanting to create a content management system for you guys where you can come to our site and access tons of free content from programs to porn to tutorials and anything else under the sun or on my hard drive.

Needless to say this is a very large project and I've already spent over a year working on it. After many versions, design concepts, distractions and failures, I've finally decided to just start over and produce something that works but is really shitty which will hopefully lead to something better in the future as I work on it more and more.

After all, what good are all these designs that just sit on our server that you guys never get to use? I'm tired of spending day after day working on this and having nothing to show for it.

-This is v1.0 of the system and as such is very ugly and poorly designed and has little content. The point of this is to get everything built in a shitty state and then see how it can be improved from there. Trying to design this system elegantly from the ground up didn't work. Lots of time wasted. See the images below if you're interested in what the pretty versions looked like.

It is a giant website directory where you can find websites for graphics files, porn, torrents, information and downloads.

-Added "Create Mode Shortucts" page.
Lists all of the keyboard shortcuts for Create Mode.

Well, First of all thank you, it was exciting to see every page you made, even if they are only prototypes.

Graphics: I think the dark background is the best choice, it makes everything much more pleasant to look at, and it may highlight content and the menus as well

Contents: I like so much the movies page, but from my point of view I think would be better put on there music page instead of nudity YT, I'd love to add some videos on there anyways :P

-IMVU Create Mode Shortcuts: that's a great idea, I would like add these informations on program's pages as Max 3Ds, Sketchup etc.

-IMVU Tutorials On YouTube: split by type of graphics program, such as 3Ds Max, Sketchup, Blender, etc. so people can find quickly what they need.

That's all just for now, I'll have new proposals soon tho. :P

The whole point of this system is to share mafia specific content as well as anything and everything I find interesting on the net or know others might like. I can add a music page as well but I'm not removing anything. The Movie page is IMVU related because those videos are meant to be used with those YouTube tvs in the catalog. I was originally gonna put some of those products on the page as well but couldn't find a place to fit them in.

I thought about that but I haven't yet figred out how I would do that. I guess I could add a side menu to the page for category filtering. Then I need to alter the data on the backend to support tagging. Actually, nvm. I forgot that I changed the data to a multidimensional array to support tagging the videos as dead. So all I need to do is incorporate the tagging system from one of the old versions and then set up the sidebar.

Yeah, I had spent around half the year working on this system, constantly re designing it. Finally I just got fed up with never having anything I was happy with and how long it was taking, keeping me from releasing much else on the site. SO I finally decided to release a shitty version of the system in the hopes that once I saw it start to take form I could better design it.

And I wanted to get you guys involved so you could help me and see what it takes to do this stuff.

CTRL + TAB = switch to next tab on IMVU
CTRL + W = Close currect tab

Update:

Revamped "YouTube Movies" and "YouTube Nudity" pages.
-Combined them into a single system using templating thus reducing the amount of code/files on the server by 50%.

Added more movies to the "YouTube Movies" page.

-Added general client shortcuts

Alt + B Set blueprint/image on the viewport

SketchUp has a number of keyboard shortcuts configured by default. You can also add your own, custom keyboard shortcuts by going to Window -> Preferences -> Shortcuts. Below are some of my most frequently used keyboard shortcuts. By tapping the designated key, you’ll activate that tool without having to select it from a menu or toolbar.

Spacebar – Select tool

R – Rectangle tool

L – Line tool

M – Move tool

P – Push/pull tool

S – Scale tool

Q – Rotate tool (This is one with a weird letter. But I remember it because the letter Q is round, and has a “handle” on it. So you could grab the handle and rotate it around)

E – Eraser tool

G – Make Component (See below, I created a custom shortcut SHIFT + G to make group)

Arrow keys – Lock axis
