Were all going to die eventually anyway. Whats the problem teaching a animal that it's going to die?

Not sure what to think of this. On the one hand, if it were real, being able to teach an animal it was going to die would mean that animals were smarter than we thought. On the other, it is terribly sad. But i believe animals already have the capacity to realize these things.
