@Trap: no matter what you are downloading, weather it is a webpage, a torrent, a file...through browser or p2p client...you run the risk of obtaining malware. So yes, you can get viruses from Froswire; the same way you can get them from limewire, or bittorrent, or piratebay, or internet explorer, or firefox, etc, etc, etc....
