Yeah easier dressing the same body/head as your "teacher" to learn faster and once you feels more confident then you can try other body/head types on your own.

The collar thing can be dangerous if used in the wrong hands. Smart advice is to never give your collar control to someone you barely know. Also in the same way, never accept a collar from someone else. Best thing is to get an official one from the mainstore or from the official vendors that are trusted by the main creator. A collar given by someone can contain malicious script or stuff that you wouldn't want happen.

Also nothing beat a true D/s relationship when doing it right, you don't even need a collar to give orders to your sub.

I'm mostly using collars as a tool and not a way to submit someone else. Collar can be useful sometime like if your sub felt asleep infront their computer, you can safely teleport them to home from their collar menu for example.

Also just another advice, don't use P9 (aka peanut) collars. Wendy was a former dev on the OpenCollar team until ... some drama happened and she decided to make her own collar version but also her source code is private which is kinda against the license from the original OpenCollar. I started off on IMVU and was mostly creating on it but ever since they started this whole desktop/mobile interface thing and ignoring the desktop client I kinda started using imvu less. About creating there is ton of creator and tons of products. To put product in market is easy, the point is find customers to buy it for make profit. I know many lands have malls all kind malls with pictures, u can visit in 3d inside game and try it there and buy but they were giving rent becase have that place mall at land and many many more things there. If you need back up i can come back there for make social things, meet people and make good customers profile but if u a lone there then its really hard to find customers there. By the way most people buying free stuff, there is a lot of garbage products free and people buying them, not give lindens for better and high quality products unless they have something prove in social platform like high side gf, want to show rich etc etc.. Hmm i had more experiences but forget many things. About black market that platfom havent and they allow anythign there is also garbage everythings and everywhere and some people acting like animal there.. Also there is living classrooms they teaching buildings, u going with ur character like real life and taking lesson there free, that was good i was in there some classes also.
