I was not sure where to put this, so I'll just leave it here and hope that it is seen.
Again, be very cautious when you are purchasing anything from anyone that you do not know. It may seem like a simple enough rule but I remember when I first joined and allowed myself to have a false sense of security, only to get burned on a joint purchase. Not everyone here is here with good intentions for everyone else.
Before you purchase anything from anyone, make sure that the user has a rapport or at least a history of activity on this site for you to background check. You should not be buying from anyone who has no display picture with 0 posts. If you DO purchase something and you do not receive it, even after constantly contacting, out that person. That person should not be able to scam multiple of our members in silence when the next bunch could be warned of the sellers actions. I have been contacted by two different people who got burned on their credit purchases before coming to me and this should not be taking place.
If you have already been scammed and you purchased via PayPal, try and contact PayPal to file a claim for a refund of your money seeing as your credits were never delivered to you.
The Credits section of this site was made so that we can continue to send and receive credits at decent rates, not for us to promote the "sales" of IMVU's credits while losing money as well as Mafia integrity by allowing this to happen.
I mean, "Relax, We have Your Back!" is in the Banner. "Together We Are Strong" is also in the banner.
