Here's one for you:
If women would have fast tissue regeneration like Claire from the TV series "Heroes", would every sexual encounter be as painful (and unpleasurable) as their first one due to hymen growing back together?

Yes, the 1st word is an adjective and the 3rd word is a noun.

So, in

simple through complexity

simple is the adj and complexity is the noun
and in

complex through simplicity

complex is the adj and simplicity is the noun

Absolutely, their meanings / values are completely different.

The adj describes how the noun is, and the noun's deffinition describes how the noun should be.
