Antique and urban style stores are the best; but Amazon, Overstock, and IKEA are good too if you want something cheaper. If you can find a carpenter, leather worker, and metal smith willing to do custom work for you ... that works out well if you have the cash to burn. If you are artistic, go to garage sales ... buy something beat up, and then invest the time restoring it. You'd be surprised at how well tables and lamps clean up if you are willing to re-wire and resurface them to your liking; add a touch of your personal style.
