well, in the end, Zuko asked his dad where his mother was, and the show just ended!! wtf is that about? i heard they're not coming out with a new one, they're just gonna leave it at that. honestly, i was wondering where she was from the beginning. as far as i know, the movie isnt the sequel, its just about the story, but i'd like to know if there'll be a continuation...

any info??

nope that was the end of it, everything was settle except for prince zuko mother and the movie am not looking for it because of the casting.

actually there is a continuation of the series, Nickolodeon is keeping it under wraps till the Last Airbender trilogy is finished, and first off the girl in 10,000 BC is way too old too be katara, Katara is soppose too be around 13 too 14 years old and ang is only 12, the only real older characters are Zuko and Sokka who are 17 years old. Alot of people are disappointed in the casting, but M. Night is doing a style of directing that is outside his own style and venturing into somthing completely diffrent, so these movies will make or break his carrier, most people are just retarded too expect more from a live action movie, you arnt gonna get the roles played by exact look alikes, there are gonna be suttle diffrences and of course M. Night is indian so obviously most of his cast are gonna be middle eastern or indian actors who dont get very many roles in Hollywood too begin with. Im mean seriously keep your expectations low and you wont get dissapointed...

You know, i've never been a fan of Shyamalan, so w'e. But really, he could do better. I mean, Ang's symbols dont even look solid like they do in the show. idc if he's from somewhere else, he's a DIRECTOR, he should do it right, that's his job. Keep my expectations low? Why would i do that? That seems like just plain old dullness. If you keep your expectations low all the time, you'll never get anywhere.

unfortunetly, you cant do a movie character exactly like the cartoon version, every live action movie has its suttle diffrences, look at the movie " Kick Ass " the main character Kick ass in the comics doesnt have a mouth opening for his mask, yet the movie version does.

Look at " the Incredible Hulk " Liz Tyler who plays Betty Ross, although her reprisal of the roll was superb and down too the very point of the character, she is missing one key factor, Betty ross in the comics is a blonde not a brunette, also Nick fury isnt black in the older comics, hes only black now because they needed more prominant black characters in comics, but in the original 1970's too 1990's hes white with brown and silver hair.

Im not mad, Im just shooting in the reality of hollywood and SPFX are expensive and some movie budgets dont have the funding for that kind of work, besides its cheaper too get a kid young enough too play the role then too higher and actress that requires cg affects too make look younger.

Since this movie is a trilogy and the first movie is based on Book 1, then obviously they need actors that can stand the test of time because they are going too age just like the actors did in the Harry Potter Flicks, so ang isnt going too look 12 forever, and obviously neither is Katara.

Im hopeful for the films since M.night is doing a style that isnt his own, we can only wait and see what happens

Right, right. well see, i've always been disappointed with his movies. the endings are never good, in my opinion. But i figure this should be different cause there's already a story set out for him.

There's a lot of directors out there that get it all wrong, though, look at Harry Potter, Twilight, and all the other stuff that should have been easy to get the story right. I'm quite interested to see what he'll do.
