Hello, I would like to share some things I've learned to make it practical to work in animations with biped. If you want to create a kiss, it's easier to make it with a biped with a small head. So you can resize the biped's head in a few steps.

1. Dowload biped here: http://imvudeveloper.altervista.org/blog/files-3d-max-forniti-da-imvu/ -bipedRig_Basic.Max-
2. Open 3Ds Max and then merge your biped
3. Select bone called head and select button Scale Tranform Type-In Image
4. Put on Absolute Local the value "55"Image
5. Save in your hard disk as "Biped resize head" or how you want

At one point i used biped files, to make my animations in 3dsmax for imvu. ill say this. its easier to move the bones on the biped how u want them. idk i personaly found it easier to make animations. but later i converted back to just using imvu sample files. i kinda got tired of all the work u had to do when needed to load ur biped file in the current imvu animation model to get to work.

I use only biped for IMVU's animations, every action is harmonic if you know how to play well with keys on the timeline. But is very important before to start make COPY POSE and PASTE POSE

OK thank you, I will check them out. A lot of the links on here are no long good because IMVU doesn't have the creator help system the way it was before and it's a pain trying to find everything.

You're right. I had to dig through so many more pages on this new and improved "help" articles. The worst part is that they mentioned that the intention was to make everything easier... Yeah right, killing all old and sometimes better tutorials by shutting off those links.

Oh I know right lol. These new ones suck to be honest about. I learned so much more with the old ones. They should have achieved them instead of removing them. I'm making a couch from a tut I found on you tube and everything works until I go to export the mesh and it tells me I can only use one mesh and won't go any further than that. I started out using the sample rom which is called the example 3D room now. He's using an older version of 3ds, but I've managed to figure out how to do it with my version, 2016, but I can't figure out why it is saying I can only use one mesh.

I would really like to find a complete step by step tutorial on on exporting and the order to export them in. I know you have to export the skeleton first because when you export the mesh, it references the skeleton file.

I made a full backup of the original IMVU forums before they were taken down. I'm not sure if this will help you, but I did a search of my backup for "Max Export Multiple" and uploaded the threads to our server: https://www.imvumafias.org/dl/3DS%20Max% ... orials.zip

They are all html files ... you can open them in any internet browser. The smaller the number in the file name, the younger the thread is. The larger the number in the file name, the older the thread is.
