oka i have read all the post, i went in warehouse to get a sketchup item i couldnt make and they do not allow sketchup 8 anymore, am i understanding that there now is a plugin for sketchup 16-17 because i have seen all the new functions that i would love to try. thou i am so terrified to change from my 8 which i am very familiar with, lol, if i lose 8 there is not program giving it back. the program is paid for i just love to create. if i cant do that then im so screwed, any reply would help, ty Kako

Hey mate, i downloaded that imvu file editor and used export and it works great tyvm but when i export with it my google
sketch up freezes up, i have to start task manager to stop it, would you have a solution please, ty.

Which files aren't working? Them templates you can just drag into Sketchup.

Meshout Plugin v4 not working

Meshout v4 only supports up to SketchUP v2013 unfortunately. I've wanted to learn ruby and try updating it but haven't had the time. Maybe one day I'll convince

Sketchup plugins are written in Ruby. Ruby is 8th in the top 10 programming languages and is considered a tier 1 language. It's used by companies such ad Airbnb, GitHub, and Hulu. I also read somewhere its used in logic boards heavily in Japan. So yeah it's heavily used still.

I've wanted to decompile meshout and update it since the original developer abandoned it many years ago and the only Sketchup exporter that supports newer version is has a philosophy that I disagree with heavily. However I haven't been able to find one that works or isn't a pain in the ass to set up.

I would like to start from scratch but I don't know the first thing about creating an exporter in any language.

Has anyone figured out iPort and Flexable Clothing?

I have all the needed files but cannot figure out how to use them :/
