The recent earthquake in Japan was devastating, when I saw and heard about what happened my heart sunk.

We certainly have some members who live in these struck areas, and also personally, having close relatives in both Japan and the Philippines, the events have had a personal impact on me as well.

~~~With that being said, I speak for everyone I know here in the IMVU Mafias when I say, we are praying for you all and we wish you all the best.~~~
I heard one of Japan's nuclear power plants lost both of their cooling systems in the Quake / Tsunami and that it might blow up..., but I heard that from an unreliable source.
Last official update I heard on the nuclear emergency: http://www2.journalnow.com/news/2011/ma ... ar-855908/
On top of that, the rail systems (public transport) is down...and will be down for a while from what I have heard on the news.
We send our prayers to the nation that is home to Gundams!!!
They got the cooling system working but the other reactors cooling system is now down and its close to meltdown. The radiation leak was caused by damage done to reactor 1. and now they had to let through some slightly radioactive steam from reactor 2. to cool it down... Truly sad and the casualties are big, and no one can give any accurate numbers of em cause there or thousands of people missing.
Yes, its confirmed. The cooling systems are still down. They are, in fact, trying to use sea water to cool the plant.
History bears witness of how strong Japanese are. Not only Japanese, but the whole mankind. Even though our lives have gotten extremely busy and fast, just one call from a nation and the whole mankind gathers to help them with their lives. They will stand up once again, and we will help them get on their feet.
Requiesicat In Pace.
Rest In Peace.
Ina lillahi wa ina ilayhi rajiun.
安息.
ご冥福を祈ります。
Ruhe in Frieden.
No matter what religion, race, caste, creed or color you're from, all humanity shall gather together to help all victims. We are, after all, brothers and sisters.
I feel really sad about the crisis that Japan's going through right now.Japan is a population of wonderful people, really educated and smart and with an amazing culture.It's such a shame that they got to live in that place.For example Romania is well positionated and it's full of resources but it's filled with a population of idiots.
They've been through an huge earthquake,then a tsunami,then through a nuclear explosion and the nuclear power plant has exceeded the limit that is allowed to leak within' a year and there are only 50 people left in that place for cooling the plant.Those people are probally gonna die in their try because of the radiations.They're already considered heros for standing up there.Also if they wouldn't have the appropiate equipment their life wouldn't last 10 minutes in there.Also if they get to live,their lives will have left some scars forever due to the things that happen now.Oh and the rest of the population is litteraly dying becuz of bad weather, and now they also have a lack of food and water.
I hope that their population is as well prepared as I heard and they get over this, even if I heard that this equals the crisis in the second world war.
Japan is in my prayers and I hope they get over it fast.
Click here ----> https://american.redcross.org/site/Dona ... df_id=5052 to donate at least 10$ or more for Japan.
I hope that soon we'll be able to make donations in Romania as well.
R.I.P the people who died and pray for Japan!
