We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused our members. On August 17th, our site was infected with a Chinese Chum Trojan which our scientists are still diligently battling to get rid of. We highly suggest that all of our users scan their computers with antivirus software. The site should look normal again once we remove the Trojan.

Problems caused by this trojan:
* shoutbox popping
* squished site
* chat bar on ceiling
* blank captchas

We have divided up our scientists into two teams. While one team is searching out the trojan on our server, the second team is destroying parts of the trojan as it is found. Expected time till we finish clearing the trjoan from our site is roughly 24 hours.

So far I have located roughly 40 infected files but I am not completely convinced it was just this "js trojan" causing all of the issues but I hope I am wrong.

For the most part, the site has been cleaned. Precautions are now being placed forth and enacted to prevent an incident like this from ever happening again. A few minor sections of the site are still most certainly infected, but great progress has been made and the trojan will be completly eradicated.

The infection prevented the wiki from loading but that is all fixed now so the wiki should be working properly again.

Which antivirus do you use?

Do you have javascript blocked? The Trojan worked in three stages. Stage one loaded as javascript and forced you to download an exe. Then the second stage installed a fake antivirus which hijacked your computer. The fake antivirus then hijacked ftp clients and embed the original javascript with a simple varying encryption into site files containing the names; "index", "auth", "login", and "main". From there it went back to stage one...spreading like any other virus.

I never had any of that happen to me. Unless said exe was "FileHunter" because thats all that was infected on my computer.
