Can anyone tell me what this part is and if it is worth anything?
It is brand new, out of the package.
3 years old, never used
I bought for $80 it and it did not fit inside my computer case, so it just sat in my filing cabinet for 3 years.
Now I am wondering if I can sell it on ebay and how much I should put it up for.
I think it is some kind of video card.

It looks like either a sound card,tv tuner card, game controller card or a video capture card. The picture is pretty blurry so there's not much to go on. It would help if I could read the text on the chips.

I see 1 CD-ROM audio header but I can't tell what the port on it is. Looks like an audio/video jack. Then again, I'm used to sound cards having 3 jacks minimum and tv tuner cards having 2 jacks and a metal casing.

You'll have to give me a clearer picture or some more info to give you an exact answer.

Edit:

Found this: http://www.pennskog.com/cinemaster/hcmc12_info.htm

Looks similar.

Edit 2:

It's a DVD Decoder. Basically a outdated piece of hardware. Back in the day, when you bought a DVD drive , you had to buy one of these fuckers to watch DVDs. Exact card http://www.addoway.com/viewad/Cinemaste ... 5C-1398519
