What if I use Proxifier (choose some proxy) and use Tor browser? Would I get even more security that way? I'm looking to earn an epic amount of credits from signing up dummy accounts, and I wanted to know everyone's opinions about running IMVU Client through a proxy and referring 1,000+ dummy email addresses to my main accounts. I'm worried that IMVU would still catch on. Would they be able to ban me, or would running IMVU with Proxifier and maybe Tor browser actually keep me from being banned? Has anyone tried this to this extent? Also, can IMVU staff read these posts or is this a VIP section to where IMVU staff would have a difficult time reading this content? Because I don't want IMVU to beef up their security to where once I post this, they start deleting my main accounts...

If you are already running proxifier, just run noscript and private browsing in Firefox. Running two proxies at the same time is kind of useless ... adding multiple levels of security in the same area, unless you are dealing with h4c|<7d credit cards or something illegal like that, which we do not condone.

oh, okay. And no, no credit card stealing... I believe in working for what I earn (except for paying a ridiculous amount of money of virtual currency....IMVU.........). But I'm guessing those options would be in the settings tab, am I correct?

Tools tab.
You will have to install noscript first thought; it is an addon.

I updated the Proxifier download link with an Adf.ly link (just a 5 second wait to get the file, no surveys or anything) since I no longer use Uploading.com.

I also updated the instructions with color to make them easier to follow and added another site for proxies.

Okay, so I found a proxy, and it now shows I have a different IP address. I tried running imvumafias.org and imvu.com on firefox with noscript and private browsing, but it won't let me click on a second page without it telling me that it has been denied. And since I'm planning on inviting myself multiple times on imvu using fakenamegenerator.com, I need to know whether or not I need to use a different proxy (or IP address, don't know the terminology just yet) for each invite? with the fakenamegenerator, it creates a fake email address too. But it won't allow me to access mail with the fake email that it created (although it says that once I click on the link to activate it, I can find the mail there...). Should I maybe create a fake email on google with the fake name and info, with one IP address, then use my own to invite the dummy email account to IMVU on my main, then use that other IP address to accept the invite? But my biggest question is for when I'm using 2 clients on the same computer to talk to the dummy account to earn the extra credits. What should I do proxy wise? Should I use the same IP address that I used to create the dummy account? Or would it be more wise to use that other IP address and talk to random people instead of myself? Because I worry that logging into my own account with the same other IP address that I used to create the dummy account would make IMVU realize that it's me.

Also, is it absolutely necessary for me to use firefox with no script and private browsing while I'm doing the multiple invites and logging into the client? I'm not wanting to get banned.

okay, thanks. I still have IMVULite. And I think, just as a precaution, I'll go ahead and use a different IP address for each dummy account I make and log in to with the client. And when I login with my main accounts, I'll log in with with my regular IP address. I'm thinking of using some of my dummy accounts and extra browsers to earn credits on partner sites. There was one that I found on this site, (have it written, down, would have to look it up again), that if I spend about 4 hours doing offers, I can earn around 20,000 credits if I'm lucky. I figure if I open up 4 to 5 browsers with my dummy accounts on the partner sites, once I earn my credits, I can then later transfer them to my main accounts. I don't think the partner sites would mind me opening up the other browsers and be on 1 different dummy account per browser and doing offers under one IP address, would they? lol I really am a novice at this, I feel like such a noob! Sorry, guys. I'm just wanting to be 100% clear on everything before I try anything.

You will have to test it out for us and tell us the results.

No problem. Hopefully I'll have some luck

I'm having problems with noscript... It's not letting me, for example, load videos from the watchbot page. How do I make it to where it'll let me watch videos?

Turn off noscript I guess.
