1/Yesterday (Friday @ 19:14) I received an email from IMVU saying my account has been permanently banned due to due to a Terms of Service violation, specifically use of an unauthorized version of IMVU's 3D Chat application.

2/ Some people think Its sad but IMVU is a big part of my life, it is where I spend my spare hours after work socialising with friends. I have spent a great deal of money in the game and I am an AP pass holder, also VIp. I haven't slept since, just trying to find different ways to solve this but nothings working so it is affecting me big time. I feel like a great injustice has been done to me and it has made me feel miserable

3/ The problem is coming from IMVU I believe. I mean there is no way I've been using an unauthorised version of the 3d client. Also whilst searching for answers in forum a person mentioned whisper tool. Now that I did use but it was a long time ago and I do not understand why or how it could affect me now? Since it gets removed with updates and since I am VIP, I've no need for it.

So I'd really like some help getting my account back, fingers crossed and really hoping you guys can help me out, thanks.

The whisper tool actual does modify your client. Therefore it becomes an unauthorized version. Hacking whispering is one of the easiest ways to get in trouble these days. They must have detected it back when you used it or you were still using it. Either way, I think it's safe to say this is why they banned you.

It probably wasn't deleted when he updated IMVU, stuck in there somewhere...

Nah, it injects code directly into the client, so when he updated, it would have replaced the client with a clean one.

That doesn't always happen when I updated IMVU until a few months ago, it use to store all the old junk too aswell as the new junk.

I have already told you my problem of course but I wanted the other members to be aware.

Watch out for llsp4rtatrukillall and st4rgyal them are posing to sell black market items and stealing your credits then blocking you. Please feel free to "mess" with them

It injects it directly into Imvu core files, if you had multiple files in the same place, I am pretty sure IMVU would crash.

1) your problem: I found a pedobear, but I can't go to Imvu or anyone about him.

2) how this problem effects you: If I report him to imvu customer service or even an outside legitimate site... they'll need to ask imvu for the exact chat log files, and once imvu realizes that I basically broke the rules myself to catch this bastard.. they'll delete my account, and I develope on it... 3) Where in IMVU this problem is coming from: In a private chat, I saves the chat log. Actually, one of my friends met this guy in a random private chat invite. He asked my friend if he wanted to cyber his 12 year old friend infront of him. My friend got weirded out, and left instead of reporting him.. idiot.. but anyways, he told me about it, I asked for the dude's avi name, and I.. stalked him lol Basically I purposely posed as a young kid in a private chat, got him to say some indications of what he is.. it's very obvious, I even showed another friend some of the chat log, so I got a 2nd opinion. I then asked another person in imvu, someone who knows alot about the confusing imvu rules and is a big reporter of ufi items. [b]She was a big help, she basically saved my a$$. Told me that imvu will still delete my account because it's against the rules to pretend you're under 18 and talk about adult things, even if it's to catch someone, like entrapment, (what cops do with undercovers).. I actually seen it on a show lol it was pretty neat.. An adult girl who's like 22 or something, would pretend to be a 14 year old, chats to guys on the internet, luring them into liking her (not trying hard), then invites them into a house where there's a camera crew taping them talking about it and catching them, then the host pops out and tells them they're going to jail lol There's a bunch of shows like that, they're freakin awesome xp.. BUT ANYWAYS!

I'd like to give you the avatar name of the pedobear, and also a copy of the chat log, (in confidence, because my dev name is there!) and I want you guys... to take care of him >,>
Let me know if you guys think it's a case you want to take, and how much this service is going to cost me. Or at least give me some advice.. like maybe I should throw out that chatlog, and make an alt imvu account, do it again, then report him and it would be ok if imvu deletes MY account along with his, because it's just an alt account? I dunno.. I put in alot of effort in that chat with him.. should I throw it away and start over right? Or maybe you can use it and make an alt account yourself and catch him and report him ... Let me know.
