Since my main acct has been banned, the last time I got a back up acct. Well my friend sent me a name token as a surprise cause the last time i made the name pretty quick and its lame. Plus, I'm gone for 30 days this time so he was helping me fix up my acct cause ive been buying credits to help build it up, cause i keep hearing how people are getting perm banned. Well I have vip on that acct too, lol they even took my payment for the month the day after i was banned, but i was able to get them to put that on hold and not count the month til i actually get my acct back. The only problem is with the name token is that I cannot change my name unless im vip or i buy one of those name registration thing. I dont really want to put too much real money into this acct than I already have, and its been quiet a bit already, because there's thousands into my main acct. Does anyone know of a way to get around this or something cause I hate my friend wasted his money? I mean I could just go buy the registration or vip for one month but i just really would like to not have to do this. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The only way would be to find someone to buy it for you. There's no way to get free vip or name registration anymore. If you don't want to put money into your new account then don't. Either try to get your old one back (good luck) or do whatever you can top earn credits and try to sell them and use that money to buy stuff. Otherwise just use the account as is.

It's a sucky situation but that's how it is right now. IMVU's whole environment is a very terrible. They need to implement a system of warnings and have a page in the account settings that lets you monitor your account standing, hell even YouTube does this. You should be able to go to this page in your account and see how many warnings or "marks" you have and a short description of what the warnings were for and how close you are to being punished. Even we have a simple system like this in place.

But all of this would require them to actually put time and effort in to their userbase and research the claims of their users and find out the truth before giving out punishment. It would be worth it in the long wrong in my opinion.
