Hi, new to this site.. Been on imvu since 2004. own Multiple Accounts, never been involved in any activities which against TOS, and still 5 of my accounts got permanently Disabled for different reasons. 1 reason they gave me that, i impersonated the imvu staff. for another account they said i tried to sell credits to other imvu users and for other 3 accounts they said i m getting disabled for abusing the DMCA (by filling false DMCA repeatedly)

I filled the help ticket and tried convince them that i did not commit any of the above (tried to be as polite as i could) but they said they have proof and my account went through investigation before getting disabled.

well i did not commit the crime they accused me for, however i had a fight with a IMVU staff member (out side imvu) few months back and she threatened me to kick me off IMVU and she did so.

Now i wanna know if there is any way to get my accounts back?

any help ..
really appreciate ...
Regards.

Do you live in California?

The only way to get your accounts back is to take IMVU inc to small claims court, which costs about $25 at your local courthouse. If you live in California, the same state that IMVU inc headquarters is located, then this is easy. You see, you can only sue a company located within the same state as you. However, there are exceptions that you may be able to meet if you live outside of California but still within the US.

Sadly, there are ways to do it from Canada, but doing it from Canada can be very dangerous. Canadian law does not protect victims. Even if you have been victimized, if you can not prove it without a doubt with the law on your side .... then YOU will be the one paying IMVU inc money .... and lots of it. Loosing a case in Canada is very risky. In the US, you are protected from this ... US courts do not punish you for loosing a case.

If you have a way of calling the US toll free, you can always try persistent phone calls asking for a manager, a real manager and not just the guy in charge is escalation. That sometimes works if you refuse to give up.

Ugh... I am mortified.... IMVU took my account and said exactly that..... they have done an investigation and there's no other information they can give me at this time..... then when i tried to explain myself they basically said there's no way to re-enable my account that it is lost forever.... that made me literally SICK... i mean.. I'm still nauseated just thinking about it!! I spent years building that account to what it is.. and given them THOUSANDS of dollars, and to add insult to injury I have never ONCE been reported or disabled, never have ANY problems with them and without ANY warning I go to log in one day and BAM..... its gone... forever.... I am going to take Dons advice and start to call them every day for the next YEAR if I have too... but I also want to know if i could get some more information about taking them to court... I am literally willing to do ANYTHING to get my account back... I even looked into buying t3de because I was told by there live chat support that they have people working for IMVU that can get it back.... unfortunately I have been trying to get a hold of there staff for MONTHS with NO success! I am at the end of my rope and when I saw these boards I was relieved to see a group of people who were willing to help lil old people like myself! Please.. anyone... any advice.... I'm not the type of woman to admitsomething like this but.... IM DESPERATE!!! Thanks for your help! --Lisa
