IMVU customers can add products they like and would like to buy in the future to their wishlists. Others can gift these products to them from the wishlsits.

To ensure proper function of this feature and make the process of adding items to a wishlist and gifting from it manageable, we are going to limit the number of items that a customer can have on their wishlist to 5,000. A few hundred of our active customers have such large wishlists.

Once the limit has been implemented, customers who have more than 5,000 items will see the most recently added 5,000 items on their list. They also will not be able to add new items to the list till they clear the wishlist of previously added items to bring the number to under 5,000.

We will be making this change in the next few days but wanted to announce it in advance to the community. A message to this effect is also being sent to affected users and also those who already have over 4,500 items on their list and thus likely to hit the limit soon.

Thank you.

I have cleared out some pretty large wish lists in my past. I think the most I ever spent in a night was about 7 mill back in 2008; spent the entire night sending out gits to pretty girls. It got to the point that IMVU was making me fill out captchas while sending out gifts to prove I was not a bot.

Advertising and happy members. It was back when we use to run a monthly raid on dev accounts that had not been logged into in 3+ years. Some of our members use to call it the monthly Santa.

What THE 5000 products in WL!!! i have a hard time with even scrlling through the few on my own or yet someone else's. i end up gifting from out of the top ten in someone's wl. I guess this wl limit is just again the gives the appearance that IMVU programmers are hard at work giving their customers what they have been asking for...cheers.
