IMVU Sexest?

SO my account got disabled last nite.. not sure if were allowed to post names..but 4 items were dmca'ed now my wifes account also was DMCA'ed with over 400 items however her account only got her creator rights removed. So because my account was a dude I get disbled, my wifes account was female and just gets the rights removed. Would anyone have any suggestions on how to get my account back? also Id love to Screw up the person that did this.

The way you describe it makes it sound pretty bad. Though we all know that IMVU"s system for enforcing their TOS is very illogical and sometimes down right wrong.

However, I have to ask, why were your wife's and your products DMCAd? Were they stolen?

The only advice I can offer you with regards to getting your account back is to do whatever everyone else does. Pester them with help tickets, emails and phone calls for a while then take them to court. That's really all you can do.

Is there any difference between your wife and yours accounts/situation other than your gender? Even though IMVU sucks when it comes to policy enforcement I find it hard to believe that our wife would be let off so easily after having that many DMCA strikes while you weren't. Considering she lost her creator privileges, I assume the DMCA claims were actually valid.

Claims arent valid, when the person whom targeted us kisses imvus ass imvu will naturally side for them. I made the mesh for my wife, and she derived it. nothing was ever stolen like the DMCA-er claimed.

Then I would try fighting it. Do whatever you can to rove to them you are the original creator. Send them emails with pictures of your source files, offer them whatever they ask for.

I plan to, my wife also plans to inform her attorney hopefully something can get done.
