I'm sure everyone has heard or seen the new wave alternative to smoking. The e-cig. I tried the disposeable kits for awhile and nothing seemed to help so I had all but gave up hope. Someone suggested I take the plunge and spend the money on a full kit from well known companies.
So far I've been 3 months without an actual cigarette (I still enjoy my hookah and a clove once in awhile when the craving hits me. I didn't want to despise the vape cig so if I cant hold off, I give in to just one.)
My battery is an Innokin iTaste VV
I can change the voltage to my liking and at about a 7.0 - 7.5 suits me just fine whereas my boyfriend prefers his at 9.0 - 10.0
My tank is a Kangertech Protank 2. I did have an Evod but it's holding capacity is small and I was refilling it once or twice a day.
And then, not that this part matters at all, but it's a bit of customization and lets you make your e-cig your own. I bought a stylized drip tip. It fits fine after I changed out the little rubber washer to one slightly bigger. I found the rubber piece at a hardware store.
Nobody really knows the long term effects of using the liquid nicotine but I'm down to 18mg and soon to be at 12mg. Eventually I'll be weened off of it completely. My 'sort of' mother in law has COPD and switched to the e-cig with amazing health success. Her doctor said she was doing much much better than her tests showed when she was smoking a pack a day. At 5.99 for 10ml of liquid that equates to a carton of smokes - you sure cant beat the savings.
Take it one day at a time, dont refuse yourself a smoke when a strong craving hits and before long you'll answer a craving and find that the cigarette tastes absolutely terrible. You wont want it.
