How do you stay organized?

How do you stay organized? Things are beginning to clutter from the IMVU Projects folder to the build up all kinds of textures, homepage/product designs & codings, icons and now the meshing areas a cluster fuck. What system works for you? Not sure what to trash and what to keep...help need some spring cleaning.

I can say you how I organize my work.

To every mesh I make a folder, then within that I make some sub-folders.

Then I will put it on my external HD, and sometime I will save it all on dvd.

In this way you'll havn't issues to find some product if you need to change it or reedit someone of them.
