This is literally the 4th time this has happen to me.
My IMVU account got banned for misrepresenting my age. The first time I got banned for this, I honestly don't recall saying an incorrect age in chat or message. I put my real D.O.B on IMVU and always said my real D.O.B/age in chat or messages. But maybe I did say an incorrect age by mistake, I'm not sure. I got my account back (it was my main). However, from that day I made sure I always said the right age. Until today, now I know IMVU is banning for no reason. I made 2 new IMVU account (Lets call it User1 and User 2 and it did have my real D.O.B), gifted myself a registered name and name change from my main account to User1. I Almost never spoke on User1 and I NEVER sent any messages from it. I was never asked my age on this account from anyone, nor did I tell anyone my age from that account. That account got banned for misrepresenting age. On User2 I hadn't even logged on the IMVU client or sent any messages. That got banned for the same reason. Maybe they did an IP ban or whatever. And when I tried in live chat they told me I can never get it back. I don't have ANY accounts that are not my real D.O.B

That would probably be the only way to make them change anything. Sadly it won't ever happen, there are people out there who will continue to use IMVU regardless of what the company does.


I'd use IMVULite or T3DE to prevent them connecting your accounts together just in-case that's what happening. It's possible that they banned one account for showing the wrong age and since the other accounts are tied to you they just banned those and gave the same reason. Don't think of each account as a separate entity. In IMVU's eyes, all of the accounts are one person.

I want to make a new account (I still have my main account which originally got banned but I got back about a week later). I want to file a ticket and show them my ID as soon as I make a new account so they don't ban the new account again. I'm not sure if that will do anything.

Almost sounds like you are on a watch list for pedophiles posing as children.

@Hydra I am so sorry to hear what had happen to you...but imvu works that way...I had the same experience and wasn't even able to recover my accounts...As DM said...maybe you should use imvuLite or t3de from mafia market....I myself love imvuLite that is why I am recommending it to you! I know how you feel right now...Cheer up...Mafia is here for us! It reminds me of the first day I joined Mafia...I was too disappointed with all my accounts been taken from me randomly...but if not for that I would never find Mafia...so I still consider myself the lucky one....Cheer up...

You would have to use a VPN and a sandbox at the same time to get the same effect as IMVULite.

Sorry am a bit confused...why not just use IMVUlite stand alone w/o VPN. I thought Lite already has trackers removed making it unnecessary to use VPN?

Maybe disable ipv6? Im not knowledgable about this stuff but i notice difference between ipv4 and ipv6. Maybe someone here can explain.
