IMVU's AP Policy

I know this has come up a lot from mostly every AP user out there, but... Why the hell is IMVU so restrictive on their AP content? Honestly I found it pretty disappointing when I joined a few years back that a lot of the tamer sexual content is considered against their policy. Why bother make an adult option if it's heavily censored? I can't even something suggestive in my room description without IMVU crawling down my neck.

Honestly, I feel like their AP is almost a waste of time. If your room gets reported that's "against TOS" even if you have AP and age verified, it gets taken down and you get warned. They should have a separate TOS for AP users and confirmed adults.

It is not IMVU inc's fault. IMVU staff did not choose for IMVU to be this way. It was forced upon them. Before July 2007, AP adults had freedom on IMVU. In July of 2007, paypal froze IMVU's paypal account till IMVU staff cleaned up the naughty material on IMVU. Paypal forced IMVU staff to neuter the fun out of AP. The reason paypal did this, is because paypal's policies do not allow sites that use paypal to showcase / sell pornographic material. Paypal is forced to have this rule because paypal is in a global economy where certain extremist fundamental countries frown on sexual freedom. If paypal supported sexual freedom, then paypal would be blocked from said fundamental sex-hating countries. Thus, a few bad governments have payment processors such as paypal in a vice ... and shit rolls down hill from paypal to the sites that use it, such as IMVU, and from there .... down onto us, the consumers.

That kids, is why full grown adults with AP are forced to hide their naughty bits and buy / sell their sexual products on underground markets ... such as the IMVU Mafias Black Market: buysell/

Oh, that's why IMVU is so severe about sex materials. Thank you Don for the information. By the way, I am waiting for the PRB for AP part 2 tutorial.

I didn't have a clue about the whole paypal agreement b.s. I honestly wouldn't have bought ap if I knew it was this censored.

And nowadays we can find GA underage kids fully naked having sex with adults at BM public rooms. Mind you the naked bodies girls can buy are from IMVU shop.

I agree why even let us have an adult section if it is being so regulated by them. I think there policy should also mention extra steps for the verification process to stop the rise in people under 18 using other people's ID's so they can get AP it's not that hard to wait till you are 18.

No, the verification method is alright, they should just enough everyone must verify their age (the age verification token).

The problem is people are obtaining penises and naked body products from the GA section through glitches

I still feel like IMVU kinda lets you post black market i mean i got countless ufi's but i'm still holding onto the account..

Hey Corp,
If they catch you uploading/posting black market stuff the first time is a warning and suspension for 14 to 30 days the 2nd time they take your acct if i'm not mistaken. So be careful. I always use a dummy account to upload them or an acct that I don't mind if they take if I get caught. I would be majorly pissed if they were to take my main accounts... good luck
