Oh no! That sucks. I don't know how you could fix that without constantly contacting them and telling them that someone had somehow gained access to your account, causing some trouble. I hope that there is some way to fix it. I've had a friend that ha the same thing happen and they would not reactivate their account for anything. She had to completely start all over. :awesome28:

I don't know if anyone else might have an idea on what to do but, I hope things get sorted out for you.

Usually this is due to being foreign, making a lot of noob accounts to attempt to game the system, actually gaming the system, or imvu chargebacks. I believe there are others as well, but have you done any of these things? Be honest, its the best way to get the best answer. To be honest if you have done those things its not likely that you will get the account back, I believe, not through Imvu help that is.

There is something on the site, steps you can take to try to revive it, but you'll have to wait until one of the more knowledgeable members comes to show you that.

Varsha is now gone so that will not work.

Same thing happened to me, at first I got the "Error: this account has been disabled for 0 more days.". So I thought no big deal Ill wait for 24 hours to get it unblocked and Ill write the ticket, but after it did not get activated again I started to investigate. Honestly I barely got on imvu and I remember the last few times I was, last time I was on I didnt even use any room or anything I just got on and did peer review and I might have gifted a person but that is all, after investigating and few new disabled accounts later I got a message on one of their e-mails, "Your account was accessed from a location or computer that had previous fraudulent activity. To protect the safety of the community, your account has been automatically disabled. If you feel this was done in error, you can contact us via our Help Center at http://www.imvu.com/help. " now I know my way around a computer but thats it, I havent done anything that would raise a red flag for my computer or ip address. So here I am now waiting for a reply from imvu I will never get since every time I try to make another account they just block it, so I realize that Im never getting my account back and I promise I will never touch that game again, except if they unblock my first account(a little optimism never hurts anyone) :panda8:

If you log into anothers computer and they had committed some fraudulent things to get thier accounts banned then yes your account will be associated with all the accounts that have come from that IP address.. Suggestion is contact IMVu via phone and explain to them that you are the owner of the account go through the logistics of proving that you are the owner as well as to have them take notice of all the IPs that you had logged onto that account in the past. Give them something in writting as well from your Provider showing your IP address and your Name on it with your home address to show that you have no link to the other other then making a simple mistake that you did not know about.

This is a risk that everyone takes when logging into IMVU from a different Computer then the one you normally use. Alot I know you cyber cafes so there is a chance as well that using one of the machines in one of those that you will find the same problem or some will travel with thier lappys to places that offer WIFI and again you could run into the same problem so make sure you always cover your bases and can prove that you are who you are and where you are and your IP address.

A good Friend of mine although I don't know if he is staff anymore but is very knowledgable on such things as Varsha try and contact him heres his name in game LestatDeLioncourt He's a very Nice person I have known him since the day he joined IMVU and has always been there to answer any questions I may have and to guide me to where I need to go.
