There is a couple IMVU users who are constantly harassing me, it's been going on for years, I've finally reported them with enough evidence for staff to take action but no action has been taken. they've went as far as leaking my personal information in chat rooms and other things about me


2) how this problem effects you

It didn't at first but it has been going on for months they invite their "imvu family" to join in and harass me, they spam insults and try to make me feel bad about myself, the constant effort is unbelievable, I've blocked all of them and it still doesn't stop.

3) Where in IMVU this problem is coming from

Client, public rooms.


I just want help to get the accounts banned so they can stop, if someone is willing to help I would be more than happy to send the full details of the situation and even concrete evidence if requested.

I enjoy using imvu to socialize on idle time and just talk about random topics lol they come and spam and ruin the chats i'm in pretty much and encourage people i don't know to laugh at me with them it's getting annoying

Why are they doing this?

Do they have an official IMVU group?

I really don't know why... I haven't done anything that even matches the effort they put into trying to harass me, I use to be neutral with them and friends some mutuals, then from there a mutual friend leaked some of my social media then from there it's just been constant harassment through imvu and social media. I already called imvu and made tickets with no luck and I provided alot of evidence

one of these users live in UK and was saying they were calling my local police as an anonymous tip to try to get me in trouble and even leaked my public records information off the internet with my address and posted the county police station number to a room. it's getting really annoying

Dear, Harassment such as this runs wild and like a firestorm on IMVU it is not something new alot of it though is alot of smoke and mirrors as they will not or do not have the means to do as they say they are going to do. Heck I can look up your local police number etc as well on google. Thats not a problem. Don't let them get to you Ignore them and eventually they will give up and back off when they see it don't get to you no more.

I can relate to how you feel and what you are going through as I am dealing with one now for 5 years and now it does not get me mad but I laugh so much about all that I see that she writes and tries to do as it shows how pitiful she is. But I keep reporting her and annoying IMVU help with complains and flags on what I see..Although I know they will not do anything I still do it to make a history of what she does showing a pattern. Now IMVU will not tell you what they do to the person on each report...but know that they get a little slap on the wrist stating a user has reported you this is warning number so and so...I don't remember what it was on the count but if you get so many warnings your account will be banned in succession 1st time is a week....2nd time is a month...3rd time is a Perma Ban. IMVU does not take Harassment serious like they are supposed to and it saddens me that people have to actually fear and not enjoy IMVU as it should be enjoyed. To me heck you work up enough to get 1 ban you should be perma banned and not just that account but your IP address so that you cannot create another chara to come on to repeat again.

Suggestions is to Block harassers and ignore them and if they get around that Report using IMVU's ways of reporting as they will not take your copies of chat logs as well as snap shots as now adays you can alter each one to work for you alot were doing that so they stopped allowing for us to produce evidence and to utlilize thier reporting systems.
