1)Your problem

I lost my account on December 20th last year after I was asked to log in my homepage to vote for a friend. So it happened like this: An old friend pm-ed me for a chat and asked me to vote for his badge as he was in some competition, after giving me a link. I thought it was odd how I was asked to vote but was lead to the imvu homepage and i needed to key in my passoword. After that, i logged off my account and could never log back in. I'm not sure whether i just got scammed or h4c|<7d, as I'm never too familiar with the terms(And i apologize if that offends you in any way). I filed a ticket to imvu but there wasn't much they could do for me because I forgot the email of the account and I've never bought anything using a card. Till this day, I havent been on the account.

2)How it affects me

I roleplay alot on the account, and i have quite a few friends / family that i value there as well as my belongings. It's upsetting because everywhere i go no one knows me(I'm using my alt). Some friends also gifted me things that i value alot but because the acc is gone i can't get it.

3)Where in IMVU this problem is coming in

It's not really IMVU's fault imo, because my friend himself was h4c|<7d and the one behind the screen who sent me the voting link wasn't him either. It dates back to alot of people being h4c|<7d and the link keeps getting passed around.

I'm a new member, so I'm not sure if this post will be noticed, but if it is I would like to say thank you beforehand. If you can help me out that'll be great :rudolph:

If you have bought credits or upgrades on imvu even once, I believe that you don't necessarily have to pay with a card.
So if you provide the imvu stuff with the paypal email or the phone number or any kind of information related to your payment method they would normally accept it and look into it.
But I'm not sure if they will still need your original mail info..
Do you have access to all the email addresses you have had and you just don't remember which one is the right one or do you just have no access to them whatsoever cause you don't even remember the login info?
If it's the first case, you could try and login to them all and do a quick inbox search for messages from IMVU Inc.
Probably at least the verification mail should show up then you will know what's the right original email address and properly file a ticket to get your account back!
