Datamine is right, something does seem fishy. To be completely honest, if you really didn't want this person to bother you you could just block her, have everyone she's harassing block her, block her on all forms of communication, have you AND everyone you know report her. As for the rooms situation, either talk to those room owners about what's going on or go find some other rooms to hang out in.

i understand it sounds fishy, the way she finds ways around it is the people she is friends with let her use their imvu accounts or she makes a new kik, facebook or other when we block her

Do you block those accounts as well? I would preemptively block anyone who is friends with her personally. I would also keep records of everything she says or does (screenshots of chats/messages, writing down important info likes dates, times etc) that you can use to prove to IMVU staff as well as the abuse department of the other social media services.

Perhaps even report her to officials if she's making threats: https://www.stopbullying.gov/cyberbully ... index.html

Perhaps I'm being way too cynical, but what are you hoping to achieve with this thread? People have given you solutions as best they can but you seem to be shrugging them off/saying they'll never work. Having dropped the avatar name of this person in the very first post makes me very wary as well -- how do we know this isn't an attempt to begin some sort of witch hunt against this person? You've only been here since yesterday, your five posts are only in this thread alone, and we've yet to actually see how this person has done any of you wrong.

I'd advise keeping screenshots of all chats across platforms from everyone but there's not that much you can do otherwise. As hard as it is, if she's truly causing issues, then it's wise to ignore her and let it die out on its own.

Yes we've blocked those accounts too, ive also warned people i know to block her so she wouldnt start with them. the only problem we've had with screenshotting the messages or copying it is since shes followed us into rooms that shes now a mod in is that she boots us before we can copy what he says. im not brushing off what you say or saying it wont work like someone suggested i am, im just saying most things people have suggested we've already done or tried doing. Also as for me being new and making this is because i googled how to report someone from imvu when imvu themselves arent doing anything to stop it and this was one of the first sites to pop up and i read a few before making a account and asking for help.

My advice was more for the future. If you take my previous advice and stick to your own rooms (public or private) or rooms where you are a mod or your friends own (friends you know won't side with her) then you should have no problem taking screenshots of the chat, reporting the chat and copying it.

Also, if she's sending messages to your IMVU inbox or on KiK or other social media then you shouldn't have any trouble getting screenshots or reporting it there either.

While I wouldn't try to use a copied chat log as evidence since it cant easily be modified, if you need to recover chats you can use my BasicLog2Chat program here: viewtopic.php?f=179&t=11773

I've tried to report individuals using screenshots and copies of original logs, IMVU wouldn't accept them thru their help. Unless their policy has changed which is ironic since there is a category for Safety: Stalking. They insist must report using their system at that time when in the room. By clicking on avi name in the chat area and flagging thru there. Don't be afraid to use it and flag.

Meanwhile follow all input above. If you have VIP set your room to friends only.

REPORT REPORT REPORT. Do collect the data. The evidence will serve you proof as more and more authorities are taking cyber bullying serious.

Thank you datamine, and xnyhnrae is right they wont accept screenshots because its not supported by them or something so when i tried talking to them about the girl again all they said was "Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. Nothing to worry with your report, rest assured that our proper department will review and investigate this report and will take action accordingly. For privacy reasons, we will not be sharing results of that investigation with you, however, we appreciate your notification." which usually means nothing will happen unless someone is able to stand up against her and report the chat logs
